The First Year in the Up-Cycle House

...has been incredibly challenging full of doubt and sense of solitude. It has been also incredibly spiritually rich. As I'm writing we are both in self-isolation and sick with covid-19. Everything that has happened over the past 12 months has confirmed every single why we are doing what we are doing. We want to live in a community. We have engaged with some courses and local as well as global networks and communities. Still it's been a challenge to put down roots and settle in a new place in these unsettling times. However we have been sure to put down deeper roots into our faith in God and our relationship as a couple.  

We continue to bonder on the concept of time, and how wisely some say stress to be a perverted relationship with time. We continue to pursue meditation, art&crafts and silence as our spiritual practices, as well as walking the mountains. We desire so much to share our lives with more people but we trust the process. We have learnt to buy and cook local seasonal food and put all of our travel plans on hold and just see what the next day brings.
